Evans Cycles has joined Cyclescheme’s 1,800-plus strong IBD network.

As part of the Partner Store Network, Evans’ 50 bike brands – including exclusives Pinnacle, BMC, Jamis and Fuji – will be available through Cyclescheme’s cycle to work offering, provided they are in the sub-£1,000 price bracket.

Both Evans Cycles and Cyclescheme are founder members of the Cycle to Work Alliance advocate group.

"We have always had a good relationship working side by side with Evans Cycles and are very excited by the opportunities this relationship will present,” said Daniel Gillborn, head of Commercial Operations at Cyclescheme. “We strongly believe that this tie up will increase the overall market share for all IBDs in the Cyclescheme Partner Store Network and look forward to taking the Partner Store offering to a whole new level and enhancing our clients user experience."

Head of Evans Cycles Ride2Work Mark Brown added: “Working with Cyclescheme enables Evans Cycles to offer more customers fantastic choice and value, supported by first class customer service. The cycle to work scheme remains very popular and we are looking forward to working together to get even more people cycling to work.”

The cycle to work scheme has survived a few knocks over the last few months, including becoming subject to VAT and the HMRC rule change on C2W last August.
