Long time Future Publishing cycling editor, Tony Farrelly this week announced the launch of a new company Farrelly Atkinson, (F-At for short) offering editorial and design services to the bike and related industries.
As the name suggests he has teamed up with Dave Atkinson a former Cycling Plus art editor who went on to launch What Mountain Bike before embarking on a successful career in digital and print design.
Their new venture will offer the full range of contract publishing services for both web and print ranging from bespoke site-builds, contract magazines and brochures through to tailored content packages including audio and video.
"We're not a marketing company but our aim is to help our clients sell themselves more effectively, to tell their stories as well as they can and to tell them to the right people.
"Coming from consumer publishing backgrounds we both know the importance of identifying your audience and then speaking to them as clearly and engagingly as possible. Good, focussed communication that creates a bond between you and your customer is vital at any time but it's even more important when times are tight, and you need to extract every ounce of value from your marketing budget".
"Dave has been working closely with the Cyclescheme team for some time and we are porting that work over into the new company, and we've started working on some new projects with them too", says Farrelly. He also confirmed that they have been invited to pitch to build at least one website but wouldn't say who for "We're only at the pitching stage at the moment".
