First Cycle Republic outside capital opens in Norwich

Doors to the first Cycle Republic branch outside London open this Saturday at Norwich’s Castle Mall Shopping Centre.

Cycle Republic director, Peter Kimberley, said, “Norwich has made a commitment to make cycling more accessible to all and this new store will support cyclists of every level with the tools they need to get out on the road.

“With a further £8.4m cycling investment planned for Norwich, one of the eight cycling cities outlined by the government, the opening of this Cycle Republic store couldn’t come at a better time.”

With stock chosen for the city’s demographic, the store will carry a range of Pinarello and Cinelli road bikes, Quella fixies, Boardman’s standard catalogue, Victoria Pendleton bikes and the full exclusive range of 13 bikes.

Back in January BikeBiz spoke exclusively to Kimberley, who reiterated the now departed Matt Davies’ view that there could be as many as 100 Cycle Republic branches popping up all over the UK in the coming years.
