With the Olympics now mere weeks away, athletes for Team GB have now been selected, with a number of Fisher Outdoor Leisure-sponsored athletes aiming for gold in London.
On the track, three-time World Champion Wendy Houvenaghel will be competing in the team pursuit and looking to build on her solo silver from Beijing. Houvenaghel uses Tacx trainers and rollers, supplied by Fisher, for training and warm up. Fisher-sponsored athlete Vicky Holland has taken one of the hotly contested GB Triathlon places. Holland rides Look bikes, equipped with SRAM Red.
BMX favourite Shanaze Reade narrowly missed gold four years ago in Beijing and since then has been supported by Fisher with Troy Lee Designs clothing and protection.
Fisher sales and brand director Mike Cook said: “The Olympics is an incredible opportunity for British athletes to shine on home soil and we are delighted that we are able to help Wendy, Vicky and Shanaze in their preparation for London.
