Fisher Outdoor is extending its Stockist Margin Support programme to include Rockshox forks and Rockshox Reverb seatposts.
The initiative has been launched in order to enable the specialist IBD to compete alongside online retailers, the distributor said. Fisher will guarantee their IBD stockists a minimum margin when asked to price match any of the 2015 or 2016 Rockshox forks and Reverb range from a UK based or EU based online retailer.
As before, the programme is funded by Fisher and is the latest addition to the SRAM Platinum Club service which provides IBDs with a number of benefits including:
- Price Match on any SRAM product
- Free delivery on orders
- Free delivery on servicing
- In Store Support
- Exclusive Training
- Access to competitions including a trip to Vegas and Interbike
- Access to the Zipp Margin Support Programme.
- And now inclusion in the Rockshox Margin Support Programme.
James Browning, Fisher CEO, said: “The response to the Zipp initiative has been incredible. Hundreds of IBDs are now stocking the Zipp brand with confidence as they can compete with online retailers on price, beat them on service and make a margin doing it.
“We had a lot of feedback that dealers wanted to see more of our brands included in the initiative and for us Rockshox was a natural choice. This initiative also enables dealers to match both UK and EURO on line retailers and is yet another initiative we are launching to help the IBDs, who are the lifeblood of the bike industry, to fairly compete alongside the online channel.”
