Ford is collaborating with Dahon and Direct365 on a new range of leisure and urban bikes.

Neal Holdsworth, of Direct365, said: “We’re very excited and proud to have been chosen to partner Ford & Dahon. We have developed new products that will be arriving in Spring/Summer 2016 and already we have orders and a lot of interest.”

Direct365 was established in 2009, priding itself on selling fit for purpose bikes online. The firm imports and distributes own brands and licenced products via major retailers.

Holdsworth continued: “This is to be a European offering that will evolve as we bring in more models and cycle accessories. Product can be adjusted to meet key local market requirements. The plan is to establish a network of partners across Europe to help support sales, marketing, distribution and aftersales.”

The Ford range includes the Rangers an alloy framed, HT, DD with 21 speed Shimano (SRP £299.99). The S-Max is an alloy framed bike featuring seven speed Shimano gearing (SRP £299.99).

The Ford bikes will be available from Meghna with zero per cent import duty on a direct shipment basis or ex-the UK warehouse, as will the cycle accessories.

Direct365 will be at the forthcoming Taipei Cycle Show on the Dahon stand. Further details are available from Marc Sneath at Direct365 marc@direct365ltd.com
