50 year old family-run business revamps web offering

Formby Cycles launches new online store

Formby Cycles has updated its web offering as part of a longer term revamp of the business.

Formby Cycle became became part of the Taskers group in 2003 and since then, millions have been funnelled into the retailer, the firm said, moving to new superstore premises and the newly developed website.

The new, easy to use and navigate online bike store is now live and will offer customers an overall more enjoyable online shopping experience.

Formby Cycles teamed up with North West digital marketing agency YOMA and specialist e-commerce consultants Transaction Partnership to launch the new online shop in time for Christmas.

Phil Harvey, Management at Formby Cycles said “As a family-run business, we recognise that progress is always needed. As a leading player in the cycles market, we hope that the launch of our new online store will show our customers that we are committed to deliver the very best services and products at the best possible prices. By reaching out to a larger UK audience, we are ensuring that the passion, expertise and dedication which have been built up over the last 50 years do not go to waste."

Ian Fredson, commercial director at YOMA added: “Our creative, technical and integration teams worked collectively with Formby Cycles to successfully deliver a website that portrayed the business’s vision and ambition for the future.”
