Bolt shoulder can crack if recommended torque is exceeded

FSA recalls Gossamer BB30 crankset

FSA has today announced a voluntary recall of all Gossamer BB30 non-drive crank arms that have serial numbers beginning with 10B, 10C, and 10D.

The recall has been announced following reports that the bolt shoulder can crack and break if the installer exceeds the recommended torque when tightening the crank bolt.

Serial numbers are located on the backside of the crankarm by pedal threads. MegaExo crankarms and Gossamer BB30 Triple cranksets are not affected.

Cannondale:
Synapse Alloy 105 / Apex

CAAD 8 105
CAAD 10 105
