Genuine Innovations has developed a tubeless tyre repair kit, developed using what the firm says are ‘rope plugs’.
The kit is said to be simple to use, requiring the user to simply remove the source of the puncture, then use the insertion tool to prod the rope plugs into the gap. Similar to the plugs used to patch tubeless car tyres, the rope is adhesive and will bond to the tyre to fully seal the hole.
