Firm opens two retail outlets in Denver, Colorado and Boston

Giant branded stores head into US

Giant opened its first branded store in the US last weekend.

According to BRAIN, the new store – named Giant Cycling World – is ten miles outside Denver, Colorado, with 4,100sq ft of space. The shop is owned by locals Eric Krell and Vint Schoenfeldt and is one of two new Giant-branded shops in the States.

The second will open in Boston at the end of July and will be owned and operated by Giant.

Last week the firm revealed its store programme had seen its sixth store open in the UK.

Giant GM Elysa Walk said of the US opening: “In major markets like Denver, our stores will help build the brand, which feeds other retailers in the area."

The store will stock bikes from each sector Giant operates in, while CamelBak, Giro, Oakley and Shimano products will also appear in the shop.
