Giant has opened the latest in its 'store family' north of London in Radlett, Hertfordshire.
The town is situated on Radlett's High Street, with a number of local cycle paths nearby in a green belt area.
Dan Chapman, company director of the Radlett Giant Store said: “The store has already caused quite a stir in the local community – apparently a bike shop is long overdue in these parts. We believe we offer a refreshing retail experience which consumers are already embracing.”
Manager of the store, Anthony Welton, added: “We love all things cycling; we are really excited about the future and see ourselves as being the hub for everything cycling in this area.”
Giant UK MD Ian Beasant commented: “We saw Radlett as not only a great opportunity to service the local community but also an accessible location for anybody wanting to visit a Giant Brand Store. The store roll out is having a very positive effect on Giant brand awareness and demand - this really is taking retailing to the next level.”
