The London Green Fair and Bike Fest are returning to London this year at Regent's Park on June 4th and 5th.

The event, previously sponsored by Trek, is free to the public and will feature a number of exhibiting bike companies, according to the show organiser, as well as entertainment for cyclists and their families.

This year Bike Fest has teamed up with the NCTV Toyota Greenathon to fund solar lighting in India.

“The London Green Fair and Bike Fest is a great way to show products to and meet cyclists in the heart of London," said Simon Nash, director of Green Oil UK. The firm has exhibited at Bike Fest for two years in a row. He added: "It's much better value than Earls Court, the Bike Fest has been a success for Green Oil every year so far.”

The event will also see the launch of the UK Sports into Schools campaign, a new initiative that will see textile waste diverted from landfil to raise funds for school sports facilities and equipment, organised by Wastebuster.

500 trees will be given away free to visitors too in partnership with the Land Trust, aiming to offset some of the carbon cost of staging the event. Most of the tens of thousands of visitors are expected to arrive by bike and public transport and the show itself is entirely powered by renewable energy, making it the greenest bike show in the UK according to Festival Manager Sinclair Eiloart.

Companies interested in exhibiting should contact Ingrid@Londongreenfair.org.
