Selected shops to run sessions over two dates, in association with British Cycling's Breeze project

Halfords plans free bike maintenance workshops for women

Halfords will be holding free bike maintenance workshops and bike checks for women at selected shops on May 10th and June 26th.

Pitched as sessions ideal for getting to grips with bike care basics, the sessions will be "interactive and fun" as well as offering, of course, the chance to meet like-minded women. They are being run in association with British Cycling’s Breeze initiative.

Availability is limited, so women looking to attend are encouraged to book their space.

The concept of holding free workshops in bike shops is one the independent sector has utilised across the country, where imparting knowledge about how to get the most from a bike and getting potential customers in-store is seen as a ‘win-win’, provided you have the resource.
