Two weeks ago Keith Lovell, a former employee of Beaulieu Cycle Hire in Hampshire was spotted in Bideford, Devon. The police would like to speak to him as he's alleged to have stolen 104 bikes, many tools and a great deal of cash from Beaulieu Cycle Hire.

Have you seen Keith Lovell (or the 104 bikes he’s alleged to have stolen?)

Mark Kirtley, owner of Beaulieu Cycle Hire (now called Forest Leisure Cycling) believes Lovell may have plans to set up a business in Devon as as he previously owned Tarka Trail Cycle Hire (which had no connection with Tarka Cycle Hire), a company which went under three years ago.

Kirtley is asking anyone with information on Lovell to contact him on 07740805329 or mark@beaulieucyclehire.co.uk.

Kirtley owns two businesses in the New Forest area, Beaulieu Cycle Hire and Burley Bike Hire. They have now been combined under a new business called Forest Leisure Cycling.

“Running two branches that started with B and sounded the same confused customers and suppliers alike but more importantly, we now need a name that reflects the main thrust of our business and the fact that we are not just cycle hire centres. We believe that our new title will get the required message across and we will back it up with a new livery and image," said Kirtley.
