There's also going to be a cyclo-cross specific course alongside the MTB trails and car-free roadbike testing asphalt.

Held for two-days in Bootleg Canyon in Boulder City, Nevada, prior to the Las Vegas show, the Outdoor Demo 2004 will have 115 exhibitors.

“Bootleg Canyon is a testing environment that suits every segment of the sport. With an extensive network of trails, a DH run, BMX track, a completely closed road loop, and the new cyclocross section, this year’s OutDoor Demo will offer a little of everything,” said Lance Camisasca, Interbike show director.

“Plus, the Kona Dirt Jump Demo is sure to add an exciting spectator element."

Other refinements to this year’s OutDoor Demo include the addition of a road/recumbent bike exhibit area near the road loop to enable easier access to the hardtop, as well as a car-free expo area to reduce congestion and minimize dust. Shuttles will drop off attendees at the lower parking lot).

Haro Bicycles is to sponsor the BMX Track, Thule Car Rack Systems will provide downhill shuttles, Louis Garneau is to supply helmets, Mavic is to provide trail/road tech support, Shimano will provide expo area tech support, Hutchinson Tyres will provide flat prevention and repair services, PowerBar will supply energy food, GU is to supplys energy gel, Cytosport will provide energy drinks, Kinesys will supply sun protection. Other sponsors include Crank Brothers, Burley, Sigma Sport, and Dakine.
