Interbike opens with first of two Outdoor Demo days

Bill Douglas said he’d had to deal with precious few mechanicals or punctures on the two mile stretch of tarmac, closed off to motor vehicles for the two days of the Outdoor Demo "but people liked stopping me anyway, they liked feeling like pro roadies."

Roadie at heart Brian Montgomery of Cycleurope, and president of the European Bicycle Manufacturers’ Association, was at the demo testing out an eclectic selection of machines, including a Giant Revive semi-recumbent and a rather meaty Ellsworth.
