Irish Cycling Show moves to City West, Dublin

The organisers behind the Irish Cycling Show have today told BikeBiz that the show will move to City West, Dublin in its second year.

To be held on the weekend beginning March 9th, organisers Mara Media expect to top last year’s 4,000 visitors at the new venue and to boost numbers will be reducing the cost of entrance, as well as offering free parking.

The Animal Bike Tour will be the star “Stunt Show” attraction for 2013, along with an appearance from Keelan Philips. Other special guests will be announced over the coming months. Expect appearances from Martyn Ashton and Blake Samson, among others.

Grace McDermott, the sales manager for the show told BikeBiz: "Our surveys have shown that the new venue City West offers ease of access for both Dublin and surrounding visitors with the motorway, LUAS on its doorstep.

“We are so happy to be involved in the running the cycling exhibition again in Dublin at a time when cycling of all sorts is booming and we look forward working with the cycling industry and public as we build on the success of the first ever show.”
