While the precise details have yet to be pinned down, Mara Media has announced the Irish Cycling Show will be back in March 2014.

The second ever Irish Cycling Show took place this weekend at a new venue in Citywest, County Dublin, picked for ease of access and full exhibition facilities. Mara Media said exhibitors and public alike had proclaimed it a resounding success.

According to the firm, exhibitors reported brisk business on stands with increased retail activity over the 2012 edition as well as the opportunity to do business with the rest of the Irish cycle industry under one roof for the weekend.

Mara Media show promoter Hugh Bonner praised the smooth running of the event which, he added, is now becoming a firmly established fixture on the cycling calendar.

"Once again we delivered an event which has been very well received by the public and the industry. We've been delighted with the positive response to the show which ran without a hitch and provided great entertainment for cyclists as well as the industry representatives.

nk you to the paying public who helped make this year another great year for the show.

"Roll on 2014 and here's to look forward to seeing you all next year."

Exhibitor Cube, taking up a prominent stand at the Irish Cycling show, said the event had been a great success. The bike brand exhibited the Cube AMS series, hardtails and its complete road line-up. Key draws to the Cube stand included the Stereo Super HPC 160 SLT and the Aerium Super HPC SLT.
