Australian manufacturer sweeps IF Awards; Firm enjoys growth of 160 per cent

Knog lands four international design awards

Knog bagged four International Forum Design Awards at last week’s ceremony in Hannover, Germany.

The firm picked up awards for product design, including the premier award – a Golden IF Award.

Group CEO Hugo Davidson said: “It’s always a great privilege to be shortlisted for awards as prestigious as these. But to receive an ‘IF award’ for every entry we submitted, and for one of those to be Gold is testament to the quality of Australian Innovation.”

The firm currently boasts a network of distributors in 46 countries and growth of 160 per cent.

Davidson went on the explain why the firm targeted the cycling space when it formed five years ago:

“We chose the cycling industry because it had all the right ingredients; a simple distribution model, global appeal with an environmental and fitness focus, and a growing Urban following.

"We knew that with a design focused strategy we could grab market share from the many Chinese products sold to bike stores around the world.”
