Lance Armstrong helps Apple launch a Nike iPod nano

"The Nike Sport Kit allows your Nike+ shoe to talk to your iPod nano. The sensor uses a sensitive accelerometer to measure your activity, then wirelessly transfers this data to the receiver on your iPod nano." Can a Nike/Apple HRM Bike kit be far behind?

Nike CEO Mark Parker and Apple CEO Steve Jobs unveiled Nike+iPod at an event in New York attended by Lance Armstrong and British marathon runner Paula Radcliffe.

Parker said: "Nike+iPod is a partnership between two iconic, global brands with a shared passion for creating meaningful consumer product experiences through design and innovation. We see many more such Nike+ innovations in the future."

Steve Jobs said: "We're working with Nike to take music and sport to a new level. The result is like having a personal coach or training partner motivating you every step of your workout."
