The Royal British Legion has launched a website to promote its annual sponsored bike rides. The site also contains FAQ-led articles on cycling as well as online sponsorship payment options.

Legion launches Poppy Bike website

The Poppy Bike site provides information on the Legion’s rides to the Ardennes, Paris, Switzerland and its commemorative D-Day ride based in Normandy.

The site also features tips on preparing riders and equipment. There are also detailed FAQs, a discussion forum where cyclists can exchange training tips and organise training rides and the facility for riders to set up their own personalised web page so that sponsors can donate online.

As part of their promotion of the site, the Legion is offering a Trek bike to the 2004th rider to sign up for one of this year’s ride.
