The cycle specific crowdfunding platform is the product of a collaboration between LikeBike and Born.com
The new collaboration is pitched as a first in cycle industry specific crowdfunding platforms, and will focus on projects fuelled by innovations in design, craft and manufacturing.
A representative said: "With both companies having innovation as their core business ethos it is no surprise that Born and LikeBike fit so well with the bicycle industry which thrives on innovation and is ever advancing.
"Crowdfunding is now very much part of the bicycle industry but to date the platforms catering to the brands using them have been to broad and very often the messages being conveyed get lost amongst a plethora of visual stimulation.
"Born-X-LikeBike will be purely for the Bicycle Industry and as a platform looks set to become the go to location for innovative brands to raise much needed development funds."
LikeBike 2016 will take place from June 3rd to the 5th, and will take place at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco. Details about the event can be found here.
