Locker55, UK distributor for the Dartmoor Bike Brand, is looking to increase the number of dealers stocking the Polish brand.
The first of Dartmoor’s 2011 frames are now arriving with Locker55, including the Two4 and Two6 Player frames, plus the 4X phantom.
The Dartmoor brand was established in 2004 and currently has over 30 distributors around the world – including in Canada and the US. The current range includes frames, both steel and aluminium, hardtail and suspension, rims, hubs, saddles, pedals and more, often coming in a host of colours. Dartmoor is set to expand into other areas, including ‘Slopestyle’ with the award winning suspension Shine frame, with 100mm of rear travel.
Currently Locker55 supplies three IBDs in the south of England – Slam69, Moor Cycles and Spokes-Bikes – and is looking to increase that total to 20 across the UK. The firm told BikeBiz that it is targeting smaller dealers: “We are very keen to work specifically with smaller IBDs, who we feel are best suited to fit in with our desire for a ‘family of dealers’ who know their stuff and can give the customer the very best product knowledge and customer service.”
Speaking on the Dartmoor brand, Locker55 said: “We must take this opportunity to emphasise this is not a cheap brand, the philosophy is simple; make high-end, well designed, quality products at sensible prices insuring a long term future for the brand.”
Locker55 is a new family-run business whose employees have been involved in the cycle trade for the past 25 years.
