Debut season race team to hold fundraising events and provide support to charity's drive to improve life for disadvantaged kids

Madison Genesis pledges support for Kids Company charity

Team Madison Genesis hs linked with charity Kids Company to provide both financial support via fundraisers and road safety training, among other things.

Founded by Camila Batmanghelidjh in 1996, Kids Company provides practical, emotional and educational support to vulnerable and young people. The services of Kids Company reach some 18,000 children across London, connecting with some of the most deprived and at risk children in our society.

Depite being in its infancy, the Madison Genesis team is to hold fundraisers during its debut season, but the support for the charity won’t end there. Madison staff will also assist in teaching basic road safety, through to introductory bike mechanic workshops, as well as providing sessions with team riders.

Dominic Langan, Madison CEO, said: "The team at Kids Company do really amazing and inspirational work. It is hard to comprehend the challenges some kids face in the UK every day. Thanks to Kids Company these young people are supported practically and emotionally. They help them develop their talents and interests so they can have aspirations for the future. Madison’s aim is simply to help Kids Company continue their fantastic work in any way we can through fund raising support and the time and inspiration of Madison sponsored athletes and employees."

Batmanghelidjh added: “Partnerships which enhance vulnerable children’s access to positive opportunities are a real gift. We are delighted by Madison’s generous offer to help our kids be inspired through all things bicycle! Anything that makes children happy is priceless."
