The second live BikeBiz Awards went off with a bang last night, as over 200 distributors, manufacturers and retailers from the bike trade gathered in Sway Bar in London to celebrate the achievements of the bicycle industry over the past year.
The Awards, sponsored by Cube Bikes, Citrus-Lime, Freego Electric Bikes and Cycle SOS, saw Madison and Zyro pick up awards for Best Distributor (for bikes and P&A, respectively).
British manufacturers scooped both best brand prizes, with Brompton awarded Best Bike Brand and Hope picking up Best P&A Brand.
Rutland Cycles won Best Independent Retailer in a hotly contested category, while Wiggle won Best Online Retailer. Leisure Lakes won Best High Street Chain.
The first ever Rising Star Award, which recognises young companies that have grown significantly over the past 12 months, went to up-and-coming Green Oil.
In the cycle media category Road.cc (pictured) picked up Best Consumer Website and Singletrack was awarded Best Consumer Magazine.
