Mike Davis becomes new editor of Bikemagic.com

Last week he walked away from MBUK and other Future mags, citing no firm plans except freelancing. However, he's been snapped up by Bikemagic after Danny Milner - appointed just weeks ago - left for a staffers job on MBR.

Davis will be working from home and is a full-time salaried wage-slave of Magicalia Ltd., which operates a number of enthusiast blahmagic.com websites.

With Davis at the helm, the bar for online cycle journalism should be raised. Hitherto, online consumer cycle journalists moving from office-based print mags to the world of back-bedroom virtual journalism, have tended to twiddle their thumbs rather than produce daily copy for their thousands of readers.
