Moore Large & Co Ltd and Cycleurope Industries SAS have announced a strategic partnership that will see the Derby distributor supply Peugeot bicycles to independent cycling and motor scooter retailers.
Stock of the electric catalogue will be available from this month and is shortly to be displayed at the Motorcycle Expo at Stoneleigh Park, running on the 18th to 20th of January. A further showing will be on offer to dealers attending the Geared trade invite.
Moore Large told BikeBiz that they believe the e-bike market is about to start showing signs of real growth in the UK. The distributor plans to start gradually with Peugeot bicycles in the UK and enter the market with the Ebike range with the potential to introduce other ranges as the brand re establishes itself.
Cycleurope Industries SAS is among the leading European bicycle manufacturers, located in Romilly-sur-Seine, in the Champagne Region of France. The company has been the worldwide and exclusive licensee of the Peugeot Cycles brand since 2010, and it is responsible for the product development, assembly and worldwide distribution.
As well as producing a range of Electric Bikes for the IBD market, Cycleurope has for over ten years supplied many organisations such as La Poste (French Post Office) with a fleet of Ebikes for commercial use.
