Value added tax increase to be absorbed on most bike lines during January

Moore Large helping dealers overcome VAT worries

Moore Large has told BikeBiz that it will absorb the VAT increase during January on its bike lines, meaning prices will remain at 2010 levels.

The company will offer an additional 2.5 per cent off line discount on all accessory orders, excluding offer lines. The extra discount will be taken off at the point of order processing.

Moore Large will absorb the VAT increase on Freespirit, Bumper, Barracuda, Onza, Oyama and IZIP bikes.

Prices will remain at 2010 levels, with no increase in recommended retail prices. This results in a two per cent reduction in Net invoice price to dealers, in turn helping maintain dealer profit margins on current ranges.
