Moore Large hires new area sales managers

Moore Large has appointed Steven Rutherford as its Scottish area sales manager for both bicycles and accessories.

Sales director Adam Biggs said: “Following our recent Geared Show at Perth Racecourse we are confident Scotland has some excellent opportunity for growth.

“Steven has historically represented a handful of global leading brands, across many bicycle and accessory categories, so he will be aware of almost every bicycle retailer in Scotland.

“With our products suitably positioned in the correct stores, I am confident Steven is capable of delivering rapid and significant progress for the territory.”

Moore Large has also appointed Gary Ward as its Midlands area sales manager for its premium bicycle division consisting of Forme, Tern, Cuda and WeThePeople.

Biggs added: “The Midlands territory represents the largest geographical area within our Fields Sales Team and arguably the greatest size of opportunity so we require the very best representation for our portfolio to enable us to take market share and grow our business at a similar rate to other areas.

“Gary’s experience, enthusiasm and energy will be a real bonus for our business and as an ex-National athlete, he will have a natural empathy with many in the bike industry bubble!”
