Moore Large is opening the doors to its Derby HQ next year for its ‘Geared 2014’ house show.
Marking 40 years in the bicycle trade, Moore Large is planning its biggest and best show yet, it said, with a number of projects designed to make the anniversary a ‘year to remember‘.
The venue will enable attendees to view the bike and accessory products in brand new showrooms, specifically extended and re-designed for the event in order to house the huge amount of 2014 product on display.
Many principle suppliers will be in attendance on the main show days – Tuesday 18th and Wednesday 19th February – to discuss their new products and ranges with show visitors. Showrooms will remain open for the remainder of the week to accommodate those who cannot make the main show days.
New brands revealed
The distributor has a number of new signings to debut at Geared 2014. It will be the first opportunity for customers to see next year’s ranges from cycling clothing brand Dare 2b, with a range spanning from urban cycling clobber to advanced ergonomic performance wear, designed and crafted for supreme comfort and performance.
Also on show for the first time will be the comprehensive tool collection from Super B, one of the most advanced tool manufacturers in the world based on their technological innovations and design capabilities.
Recent Moore Large acquisitions include Moda and American Classic. ML said: "The latter are emerging as a bicycle industry leader in the wheel and component design arena and their 2014 collection is the culmination of three decades of research, developments and results bringing the world’s fastest, most advanced wheels to market. Moda Bikes offer some of the finest Road, Tri, Cross, Commute and Junior bikes. UK designed and assembled at the company’s Derby HQ to consumer specification if required as part of the Dream Build programme."
Other brands exhibiting include Forme, Barracuda and Bumper bikes, apparel from Lake, Limar, Proviz and Vangard and BMX ranges from Haro, Premium and Social to name just a few.
