Bristol-based Aardman Animations has created Angry Kid and will be releasing 25 60-second episodes of his adventures exclusively on the net. It is not yet clear whether he will be seen riding a BMX or an MTB.
Michael Rose, head of film and TV productions at Aardman, said: "He's anarchic, irreverent and definitely not suitable for family viewing - perfect for the Internet."
Angry Kid's exploits take the form of diatribes against his parents, school and "all the usual things" an adolescent might want to moan about.
He even gets to swear in one episode. Angry Kid is a Parka-wearing pre-teen hailing from a dysfunctional family.
Episode one of Angry Kid's adventures will be available to download from Monday May 8th from www.atomfilms.com (which also has a back catalogue of other Aardman Animations films).
If Angry Kid proves successful, he will make his bike-riding debut on terrestial TV later this year.
