NeilPryde bikes win Red Dot design awards

The Alize and Diablo road bikes from NeilPryde have been awarded with Red Dot design plaudits. The Red Dot is an award for high design quality, decided upon by an international jury, established in 1955.

“As always, our jury cast a very careful eye over the products submitted. Design quality has asserted itself clearly in the judging process, with genuine and new creative solutions also being rewarded. Both of these criteria are not just yardsticks for good design, but also for the potential for success on the market,” said Professor Dr. Peter Zec, the initiator of the design award.

This year, designers and companies from 60 countries entered 4,433 products in the Red Dot award: product design. NeilPryde joins Ghost Bikes as one of the awardees from the bike trade.

NeilPryde, a brand leader in the windsurfing equipment, entered the bike trade in 2010.

The Alize and Diablo road bikes were designed with the help of BMW Group Designworks USA.
