New BMX and MTB signings BOX Components to sit alongside Knog, Limar, Lake, Dare 2b and more

New brands heading to Moore Large’s Geared show

It’s not long before Moore Large opens its Derby showroom doors to dealers, exhibiting their latest products and brand in the portfolio, together with global and UK principles.

Geared 2014 runs February Tuesday 18th and Wednesday 19th, while the showrooms will remain open until 21st to give retailers an extra opportunity to view the bike and accessory ranges available for 2014.

Principles from many of Knog, 4ZA, Limar, American Classic, SR Suntour, KMC, Lake, Jagwire and Super B are flying in from all over the world. Many UK representatives from the likes of Dare2b, Proviz, Weldtite, Michelin and SIS have also confirmed their attendance.

New BMX and MTB signings BOX Components and Promax Components are the latest brands to be added to the Geared line-up. Promax’s well-thought out bicycle components are engineered and designed to address the rider’s specific needs. Launched by three bicycle industry and racing veterans BOX components design, develop and supply high-quality, innovative products combining style and optimum performance.

In addition to the open showrooms customers will be invited to see the new technical centre Moore Large have invested in for 2014. This will be the base for all Moda bicycle production, as well as their QC workshop. The centre will be equipped with the latest tools and workstands from new workshop brand Super B. Part of the tech centre set up will be to offer wheel and hydraulic repairs for our dealers. The distributor will also be able to hold technical training and product seminars for brands such as SR Suntour and American Classic.

Limar are doing something special at the show this year to celebrate being the Giro d’Italia Official Supplier and the race starting in Ireland. They have Richard Russell, a caricaturist on hand to draw a hilarious picture of attendees in a Limar helmet. These pictures will be displayed on the Limar website and the best ones will win free access to the V.I.P spectator’s area at the Giro d’Italia Big Start in Dublin, on May 9th.

Customers can take advantage of exclusive show deals for every brand. They will find a variety of promotions such as stock-in deals, combined purchase deals, in-store POS, FOC products, discounts, increased margins and extended credit. Any dealer who places an order at the show will also get 50 free Kenda tubes as ML’s way of saying “thank you” for taking the time and effort to travel to Derby.

The distributor said: "The show combines all tour product launches and is the best opportunity you will get to see all the new brands and new products in one go. It’s a unique opportunity to meet the brand principles and network with other people in the bicycle industry. Hot and cold food and refreshments will be on offer throughout the day."
