Great news, weve got a new leader. That was the reaction of Carattis Ellen Waters to the news that a new MD had been appointed.
42-year old Trevor D. Bell from Henley on Thames takes over the Bristol hotseat, overseeing not just Caratti but Schwinn/GT Corp interests throughout Europe. He will be based at Carattis offices in Bristol and is officially Vice President - Managing Director of Schwinn/GT European Operations.
Bell was previously group marketing director at Scholl PLC and has also held executive positions at Remy Cointreau, Playtex, Jacobs-Suchard and Proctor & Gamble.
Schwinn/GTs CEO and president, Thomas J. Mason, is bullish about Bells objectives: Trevors appointment reflects our increased focus on Europe and our expectations for aggressive growth by our respective GT and Schwinn brands. His number one priority will be to help us plan our longer-term business direction in Europe and then mobilize our resources to deliver the sustained profitable growth to which we are committed.
