London firm reveals new hybrid

New model for customisable MyVelo brand

Personalised bike brand MyVelo is launching a new hybrid bike for 2011.

With a glossy lacquer finish the new model featured upgraded Shimano shifters and front and rear derailleurs. A new smaller ladies frame has also been introduced due to popular demand.

MyVelo is sticking with the original launch price of £375. The West London-based firm debuted its first bikes last year.

"MyVelo has been extremely popular amongst cyclists who love the idea of being able to choose their colours and design and so personalise their bike in a way to suit them," enthused founder Raj Tandon.

"The past year has been great for MyVelo with the launch of our first two models back in April to the opening of our West London showroom and all the fabulous support we have had from our customers. I am so pleased we are able to keep our prices the same as last year as offering choice without the premium was always our mantra from the start. I can’t wait to see more MyVelo bikes hitting the roads and parks in 2011."
