Chemical free and delivering a long-lasting cooling effect, Mission’s Enduracool towels are widely known and used in the USA and, as of this month, they’re available to UK retailers too.
As used by athletes with as high a profile as tennis star Serana Willaims, the patented EnduraCool fabric quickly cools when wet, wrung out and then ‘snapped in the air’, helping the athlete keep their core temperature down for several hours during intense exercise.
What’s more, the Mission towel is washable, re-usable and safe on skin, as well as offering UPF 50 protection from the sun.

Hiplok
Direct to retail
01926 298 747

As you may see at Eurobike, Hiplok continues to bring new angles to the bike security market. Introducing both the Hiplok Gold and Hiplok DC, the firm has designed for the highest risk areas. The Gold features a 10mm thick premium hardened steel chain, 12mm hardened steel shackle and adds Hiplok’s new speed buckle fastening, which adjusts to fit the rider’s waist without being locked to them. As the name suggests, the lock is also tested and given the top rating by accreditation house, Sold Secure.

Consisting of a Sold Secure rated Hiplok D lock, the DC has the added benefit of housing a metre-long 5mm steel cable clipped neatly in to the “D”, which is ideal for preventing the removal of accessories and wheels by the opportunist thief.

Fly Springhammer brake

IMG Distribution
0845 8725446

BMX riders don’t run brakes anymore do they? Well some do, apparently and for those Fly has come up with a much simplified take on the BMX brake.

Using a ‘spring loaded cable’, as opposed to left and right hand side springs at the caliper, the brand has maybe brake installation a touch simpler for the novice mechanic.

The calipers run on Kevlar washers to keep the arms moving freely. To adjust the tension, all the rider or mechanic need do is simply bend the spring inward or outward to achieve the right tension. The Manual Springhanger brakes come with the hanger, spring, arms, brake pads and two sets of bolts; one for welded on and Easy Brake System mounts and another for removable brake mounts. Expect these to land with distributor IMG during early October.
