Thule has reaveled a new Thru axle roof rack solution, dubbed the ThruRide, that’s adjustable to accomodate and lock down bikes with 12, 15 and 20mm thru axles.
Hosting a removable component that allows you to attach the bike to the rack on the ground as opposed to fiddling about on the roof, the ThruRide further secures the bike via a ratcheting wheel strap and high-wall wheel cradle that secures the wheel to the tray with added protection.
A 9mm QR axle adapter is to be sold separately.
Stock is expected with UK distributor Madison in January.
Also joining the catalogue for 2015 is the new Commuter pack, which joins the catalogue alongside new Perspectiv and Covert camera bags, as well as new panniers.
The roll-top Commuter pack now sits within the brand’s bike specific luggage range and sports a tuck away mesh helmet basket, as well as a pull out rain cover which zips into the base. You’ll also find safe places for glasses and phones thanks to hard case pouches, as well as a main compartment that’s ready to accept laptops and tablets.
