OLN to air 13-part documentary on Lance's Tour preparations

The series starts on April 29th and concludes at the end of the Tour de France in July. OLN can be received in 56m homes in North America. Parts of the series may also appear on OLN's website. The documentaries will be half an hour in length and will be filmed in 'high definition' format, the first time OLN has used this technology.
Publish date:

The series will go behind-the-scenes with Lance Armstrong and the US Postal Service Pro Cycling Team.

“OLN is going to give its viewers the first-ever first-hand look into Lance and the team leading up to and during one of the most anticipated sporting events of the year,” said Roger Williams, OLN's CEO.

Trek bikes will, of course, be featured heavily. Some of the earlier programmes will feature wind tunnel testing in Seattle of Trek's new time trial bikes.

Once the Tour begins, OLN's cameras will take viewers on the team bus for daily team meetings, to team meals at the hotels, and there's a promise of bike-cams on team bikes.
