300 exhibitors will be at the second Ordnance Survey Outdoor Show, 14-16th March, twice as many as last year. And, like last year, there are a few cycle-related companies and organisations. The public show will take up three times the space, too.

Outdoor show expands

Just under 30 000 visitors attended last year’s show.

Nicola Meadley, a director of Brand Events, the organising company, said:

"Last year the event was new and we had to work hard to gain the support of the [outdoor] industry. This year we’ve been able to attract more exhibitors and we’re aiming to gte 50 000 visitors."

The show includes a ‘Go Biking’ area. CTC will be offering trial cycle rides at its popular stand. Visitors will be able to try MTBs, commuters, tourers and tandems.

Anyone joining CTC at the show will get three months’ free full or family membership plus the chance to win a Giant MTB.

The Ordnance Survey Outdoors Show will fill three halls this year with other cycling organisations including Sustrans and the National Cycling Strategy Board

taking stands as well.

There are also stands from Airnimal Designs Ltd UK, the National Byway, Science in Sport, Cycle Active and Madison.
