Taiwanese bike brand is coming to Cycle Show this week

Pacific Cycles seeks dealers for next step in European expansion

Pacific Cycles is looking for UK dealers at Cycle Show, in the latest step in the firm’s expansion into Europe.

Six months ago the Taiwanese bicycle manufacturer created Pacific Europa, headquartered in Islington, London. Since then Pacific Europa exhibited for the first time in the UK at the Gadget Show Live and sold its range via one exclusive retailer.

The child company is ready to expand and take on new dealers. Pacific Europa is looking for small, independent dealers all over the UK to build a long-term relationship.

A spokesperson for the firm said: “Pacific bikes have had a great response from both the public and the media. While debuting at the Gadget Show Live Exhibition, over 1,500 people chose to try out the Pacific bikes at the indoor track and many more joined our mailing list.

“On the media side, Pacific bikes have enjoyed attention from varied portals, including being aired on Channel 5’s Gadget Show, where reviewed three of the brand’s bikes and Jason Bradbury took a Pacific iF Reach to victory during the triathlon challenge. Pacific bikes have been nominated for this year’s IET Innovation Awards 2011 and have made the British Engineering Excellence Award short list for "Mechanical Product of the Year Award"; as well as having the Pacific iF Mode bike featured on ‘Cyclepedia: A Tour of Iconic Bicycle Designs”.”

Pacific Europa is inviting interested dealers to contact them at info@folding-bikes.com or visit them at booth D65 at the NEC Cycle Show.
