Working with CycleScheme, Paligap has introduced a promotion on Marin Bikes’ Pavement range, to support the Marin dealer network.
Making use of the commuter brands in Paligap’s portfolio, including the likes of Axiom and PDW, the distributor is planning to drive potential Cyclescheme consumers towards the Marin brand and authorised dealers.
The promo allows the dealer to up-sell in-store, as well as ensures they keep a healthy margin on the sale, Paligap said, adding that it was more committed more than ever to Marin’s philosophy of IBD-only distribution.
“We are doing this by way of supplying product to dealers free of charge and then the dealer selling to the consumer at half retail price," explained Paligap sales manager Tony Rose. "This means the dealer will cover the majority of the commission payable to Cyclescheme.”
The products included on the program are a PDW light set, and an Axiom rack and pannier set, which totals £135 at SRP. The Marin pavement models included in the promotion will be the Terra Linda , Larkspur CS3 , Kentfield CS3, San Rafael DS1,DS2,DS3 and DS4 and the Fairfax SC3 and SC4.
