Paul Butler has been promoted the role of managing director at Jim Walker.
Celebrating 20 years service with the firm, Butler was rewarded with the promotion following several years of strong growth under his guidance as sales director.
“We will continue to develop our business and, of course, our focus for this will always be to progress our offering to retailers and suppliers by working closely with them to help them maximise profits for their own businesses,” stated Paul Butler.
Operations director, Matt Walker said: “We are all pleased to have Paul taking the company forward and I know that his expertise and passion for cycling and our customers will ensure many more successes in the future.”
There are several projects underway at Jim Walker at present; an already strong team has been bolstered by several recent recruitments in sales, marketing and warranty and a brand new main warehouse with office headquarters will be coming to fruition shortly. Also, the new 2011 JW-Dler Book (The Green Pages) with be mailed out within the next week.
