Phil & Friends ride fills up even more...(but where's Duffers?)

Mind you, despite all the plugs he gave the ride during his Eurosport coverage of Tour, David Duffield has pulled out.

Those still riding include Robert Garbutt, editor of Cycling Weekly; Sean Yates, one of cycle sport's best ever domestiques and, last year, a convert to vegetarianism; the Bikebiz editor (who worked so hard on getting B3 to the printers, he never had time to put in any training rides so is going to get his legs ripped off; various top bods from the BCF and CTC, plus a smattering of British participants in the Tour de France (and there ain't many of them to a pound).

Entries will be accepted on the day but organiser Michael Dennis of CTC said it would be best for members of the trade who want to join the ride to register beforehand in order to book the right number of breakfasts and lunch packs.
