Bike Republic has returned to Oxford Street’s Selfridges department store, located on the Lower Ground Floor.
Exclusive bikes, found only in Selfridges, include fashion world favourite Cigno and the Rizomo Metropolita. Other product highlights include the Abus Kranium Helmet, lined with dual density cardboard, and Brooks – Selfridges is now claiming to be the largest stockist of Brooks bags and saddles in the world, with every item and accessory in every available colour.
We gleaned a few words from Bike Republic on the set-up. The retailer told BikeBiz: "As you know, bikes need a large retail space to show off each range properly, making the customer experience pleasant and allowing them to enjoy walking the whole retail space. Bike Republic has arranged the bikes in a gallery style rather than crowded rows of product, which just confuses the customer."
