Primal Europe shortlisted in Herald Business Awards

Primal Europe has been announced as one of five businesses shortlisted for the Plymouth Herald Business Awards.

The European arm of the worldwide cycling clothing company has been nominated in the ‘Small Businesses of the Year’ category and goes up against Karris Ltd, Kingfisher Fish and Chips, Pixalytics Ltd and Portcullis Legals Ltd.

The awards will be hosted on Thursday, April 14, 2016 by The Herald newspaper Editor, Paul Burton and BBC Apprentice star, Charleine Wain.

The company is a keen supporter of the local apprenticeship scheme, with four of its current staff progressing through the scheme to be offered full time roles. They work with businesses, sports people and events in their local area, and recently partnered with local Plymouth café, Rockets & Rascals to offer a pop-up store and attended and supported the Dartmoor Classic, Plymouth Grand Fondo and Moor 2 Sea events.

James and Judith Smith, Directors at Primal Europe, said: “Being shortlisted for the Small Business of the Year Award is a real coup for us. It’s another indicator that all of our hard work is paying off and demonstrates the strong links within our local community.”
