Raleigh has taken on the UK and Ireland distribution of Koga Bicycles, taking the distributor's portfolio to over 50 brands.
Like Raleigh, the Dutch-based Koga brand is part of the Accell Group, with all bikes within the £899 to £2,999 range hand built in Holland.
Raleigh managing director Mark Gouldthorp said: "Koga is the latest in the line of exciting brands to join our portfolio in the last 12 months. This move allows us to increase the number of bike shops we supply and in turn gives more choice to consumers who shop at Raleigh stockists around the UK.
"By adding Koga, another Accell brand, to sit alongside Raleigh, Diamondback, Haibike and Dahon we are bringing in another premium bicycle brand that's long been in demand by the UK cyclist."
Koga has long been a supporter of Dutch cycling in all shapes and forms, developing innovative bicycles and accessories and supplying professional riders and Dutch national cycling teams for many years.
The Koga product range has gained prominence in the UK in recent years through its touring range and more recently through its Bosch or ION driven electric bike offerings. In recent times, Koga has also made use of the Nuvinci hub gear system, which allows an infinitely adjustable gear system for automatic and stepless gear changes, providing another high-tech solution for the UK's growing e-bike market.
Koga products will be on display at Raleigh's head office from 1st November 2014.
