At the 2011 Licensing Awards last night, Raleigh's Red or Dead bikes took the prize for 'Best Licensed Brand Range'.

The range was launched in May this year, targeting a section of the market – young women interested in fashion as much as in cycling – that is largely untapped. You can read BikeBiz's report of the Raleigh Red or Dead launch here.

Raleigh revealed the range had its boosted bike sales in August.

1,300 attendees from the licensing industry saw the win at Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London.
