Road bike donations made to charity cyclists

Raleigh lends support to Disability for Sports events program

Raleigh UK has donated road bikes to Disability for Sport to use on charity fund raising rides.

Commencing on Monday 22nd September a team of three cyclists will ride from Londonderry to Skegness in four days to raise over £10,000 for Disability for Sports events program.

The team consists of Garry Hyndman– DSE’s national events
coordinator, Patrick Bonner– English Federation of
Disability Sport’s (EFDS) North East regional development
manager and former World class Gymnast, Dave Padgen, who is EFDS’s South West regional development manager, as well as a former Paralympian. All three are keen for more people to get involved and beat the target.

"Making a contribution of bikes to enable fund raising for Disability for Sports has been a very rewarding experience," said Geoff Giddings of Raleigh UK. "We are always keen to support and encourage children to cycle whatever their ages."

Raleigh can be found on stand A1 at this year’s Cycle.
