Exclusive distribution deal signed with German bike brand for UK and Ireland

Raleigh to debut Haibike deal at Cycle Show

German bike brand Haibike has linked with Raleigh in an exclusive distrubution deal bringing the label’s bikes to the UK and Ireland.

In the spotlight at present thanks to its ‘e:i Shock’ collaboration with Rock Shox, the label has brought about what it says is the world’s first electronic suspension system for bicycles. The computer-controlled rear shock system automatically adjusts to the rider and terrain, optimising its performance for every condition.

“With Haibike’s position as a performance brand, this new introduction provides an excellent compliment to our current bike brand portfolio. This commercial partnership has developed from the recent acquisition of Raleigh Group by Accell and we expect further collaborative ventures to be realised going forward, ”said Mark Gouldthorp, Raleigh UK Managing Director.

Haibike’s catalogue includes a large line of full suspension, hard tail 26”, 29” and 700c models.

“Haibike have taken time to ensure that they are effectively represented in the UK and are excited with the commitment and enthusiasm shown by Raleigh to support our brand in an important market,” said Susi Puello, Haibike Managing Director.

Dealers who are interested in Haibike can have a first look at the range as part of Raleigh’s presence at the upcoming Cycle Show at the NEC Birmingham, running September 27th to 30th, 2012. To register interest in Haibike and arrange an exclusive appointment please email pamsimmons@raleigh.co.uk or contact Raleigh on 01773 532600.
