The Northern Rock Cycle Challenge sportive saw a record number of riders sign up to the event, which took place last weekend (June 11th to 13th).
Over 3,500 riders took part in the Northumberland-based rides, including pros, club cyclists and children, over 33, 63 and 104-mile rides.
Last year the Cyclone saw around 2,500 riders take part.
The event is now in its fourth year, and is the biggest sportive event in England, according the organiser.
Speaking during the weekend, organiser Peter Harrison said: “A big thank you to everyone that has ridden and cheered riders on so far this weekend. The Northern Rock Cyclone is bigger and better than ever this year – and it’s only cycling fans of all sorts and sponsors that make it possible.”
